ALEKSANDRA - Danslärare
I’m 28 years old and have 7 years of experience as a professional dance teacher and choreographer in Poland. In 2020, I moved with my family to Sweden. Dance came into my life when I was 9 years old. In 2013, I graduated from the State High School of Ballet Janiny-Jarzynówny Sobczak in Gdańsk with a 9-year training cycle, obtaining the title of a professional stage dancer. Then, in 2017, I graduated from the bachelor studies in ballet pedagogy at the University of Music Frederic Chopin in Warsaw. In 2021, I also obtained a master's degree in dance art at the above-mentioned university.
I have extensive knowledge of various dance styles, especially modern and classical dance. Passing on the knowledge gained during many years of study to young dancers gives me great joy. Dancing is my passion. I easily create group choreographies, duets and solos, preparing both movements, choosing the right music and artistic message. In my previous position, I was also involved in designing costumes for each of my choreographies. My students repeatedly stood on the top podium of national and international competitions of the IDO and WADF federations.
In my work, I focus on an individual approach to each dancer, regardless of the dance technique he presents. I always look for solutions if I see difficulties with learning a given combination or elements of dance. I attach great importance to the mental health of students. My task is to instill love for dance, encourage a healthy lifestyle and systematic work on improving my skills. In my classes, there is always an appropriate discipline, accompanied by a pleasant and development-friendly atmosphere. Conducting classes in English would not be a problem for me. Children learn through imitation, so a professional presentation of choreography and dance elements by a teacher is, in my opinion, crucial.
