KAIDE - Danslärare
Kaide Gonzalez is a Chilean/Swedish dancer rooted in Hip Hop and House. He began his professional training by spending a year at Åsa Folkhögskola in Sweden in 2009, returning two more times over the years to deepen his knowledge in street dance. His journey has also taken him to Broadway Dance Center in New York and, more recently, to the Academy of Theatre and Dance in the Netherlands, where he earned his BA in Dance Education (2022).
He is a co-creator of the Swedish crew Majeko and the international collective Bakemono. He stays active in the international battle scene while also teaching and dancing on stage. Kaide has performed in international works such as Earthbound (Johanna Faye & Saido Darwin/CCNRB-Faire), Motus Sonus & Trio nr. 1 (Alesya Dobysh), and Our House (Wennah Wilkers), and developed his first solo work 60 seconds as part of ICK Amsterdam’s New Adventures 2023. In 2025, he co-created Chasing Butterflies with Majeko and toured across Sweden and Europe as part of the European project Attitudes.
During 2025 he initiated the project Zone of Endless, where he coaches young talents based in the northern regions of Sweden with the aim to build a community with ambitious dancers interested to develop within street and club styles.
While being mindful of the Hip Hop and House dance culture that he’s a guest in, Kaide is developing his own freestyle practice method, Leviathan Flow— emphasizing fluid movement and full-body engagement. He also shares insights into dance, mindset, and long-term practice on his YouTube channel Road to Infinity.
